ADVANCED PLAYER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
The APD program is designed to identify and train those 9, 10, 11 and 12 year old players at ASWLL that have the desire to become the best baseball players they can be through hard work and perseverance.
Three indoor Workouts at D-BAT Arlington & 10 on field workouts at MLK
15 rounds of hitting each week off the state-of-the-art pitching machines at D-BAT Arlington.
The baseball curriculum for the APD program is designed and managed by Eric Darjean. Eric
played baseball at Dallas Baptist University for 4 years and went on to play independent
professional baseball in the Central Baseball league. Eric began coaching and training youth
athletes after his baseball career ended in 2005. Eric has provided private lessons to some of
the area’s best High School players, many of which went on to play College Baseball. Eric has
been a manager at ASWLL for several years and has two children that play in the league.
The registration fee for the APD program is $200 per player
Every Sunday 01/26/2020 through 05/17/2020.
9-10 year old’s groups 2:00 – 4:00. 11-12/13 year old’s 4:00 – 6:00
No workouts 02/16/2020, 03/08/2020 (Spring Break), 04/12/2020 (Easter); 05/10/2020
Requirements for Participation in Program
Program is by invitation only. Previous years All-Stars are exempt from player evaluations and
will receive an invitation to the program.
Remaining roster spots will be filled through coaches’ recommendations and player evaluations.
Must be registered and play in the Spring 2020 season at ASWLL
10 rounds of hitting of the D-BAT Arlington pitching machines every week is required.
Attendance at weekly workouts is mandatory. If player attendance falls below 80% of workouts
or does not meet the weekly hitting requirement the player will be dropped from the program.
